As I started this post I realised it's my 1000th post... My first post was
in July 2009 and over the years I have enjoyed reading others blogs and making many friends and have even been pleased to have meet some in person...
Perth Ladies GTG at craft show in 2014
When hubby and I tripped around Aussie met the fabulous Fiona from BubzRugz
and the lovely Kris from Tag Along Teddies
and all the delightful ladies in Brisbane from Sunday Stitchers..
In 2016 DD Sandra and I went to Melbourne for the craft show and met two lovely bloggers Christine from Mac Donald's Patch and Helen
from Helen's Patchwork Passion..
I have participated in many fun swaps , SALs and joined in OPAM and enjoy sewing along on Friday evenings for FnwFs and FNSI ........
Sadly many don't blog anymore and I miss reading their posts but I hope to keep posting for another 1000 ......
Must away and organise a project for FNSI with Wendy on Friday.......
Happy Stitching ..
Hugz Maria 😄

ReplyDeleteCongratulations, your blog has been a success! Yes, it is too bad that so many nice bloggers have stopped writing and maybe moved to Instagram or just stopped altogether. Your blog has always been inspiring and you have shown so many ways to help others while doing what we do best: sewing.

ReplyDeleteSo awesome you've met so many of your blog mates in person. I've been able to as well, but not as many as you. Congrats on your anniversary, that's a nice accomplishment. Keep posting.
ReplyDeleteComgratulations Maria, it is so good to meet up with people you have come to know through blogging. .I enjoy reading your 9ur posts and seeing your projects. ..hopefully we can continue for the next 1000 posts!! 😊😊
ReplyDeleteCongrats on a HUGE milestone! I've made some good friends through blogging, too. Sadly, now, I'd rather just sew than read or write blog posts. I keep thinking I'll come back, but it never quite happens. Party on!!
ReplyDeleteWow, congratulations. I love reading your blog. And it was great to meet you at SS. And one day - you never know- I might come and visit your craft group. My bucket list has visiting quokkas very near the top, although I don’t think they will be able to show me any sewing.
ReplyDeleteIt's been great getting to know you and following your blog. It is very noticeable that blogs are disappearing. I so enjoy them and am glad you are continuing...

ReplyDeleteCongrats on 1,000 and 10 years! 2009 must have been a good year for blog starting, I started mine (the old Wordpress one) in April 2009 but I certainly haven't kept up well enough to clock up 1,000 posts - well done...onwards to your next 1,000!...
