I'm hoping to work on "Fancy Forest". Have made a new flower in a darker grey fabric ...( See previous post) Even though it was fiddley it now looks sew much better.....Shame I didn't have a lovely design board ( like the one at retreat) to take the photo. Just pegged it on my blind on the porch.....
Looks like a leadlight window but you can see the grey Flower looks sew much better....
I've also joined Cheryll for the "BLOOM SAL" and have the first two blocks ready to blanket stitch on the machine sew I can link my post with Cheryll and others on Saturday 19th Jan...
Must away now and organise wadding and backing for "Fancy Forest"
Happy Stitching,
Hugz Maria 😄

Well done with the flower change, like everyone noticed! The new applique flowers are pretty.
ReplyDeleteYour Fancy Forest looks fantastic and I love your fabrics you are using for your Bloom blocks. It would be nice to have a great design wall.
ReplyDeleteAs others have said, the changing of the flower was a good decision - and the fabrics you've used work well. That project is definitely (still) on my to-do list! I love the start you have made for your Bloom quilt - see you tonight :-)
