The Last OPAM for 2017

WOW it's hard to believe that another year is nearly finished and it's time to post my last OPAM for 2017.. This is the seventh year I've joined the lovely ladies  Kris and Peg for OPAM and I do hope they run it again next year as it does help keep me on track...  Thank you heaps ladies...XX

I finally finished the little baby quilt that come home with me from my DDs a few weeks ago...
Remember I didn't quiet have enough binding to go all the way round, you can see it HERE .

This is how I fixed the problem...
Added a piece to fit on each corner....
I think it worked out well.

Out of some the scrap fabrics that also come home with me I made a basket . I bought a Dolly and made a blanket to wrap her in and put her in the basket which was I gifted to be given to a special little girl for christmas..

Thanks Ellyn for the idea..

I can now show some of the Christmas gifts I made awhile ago...

Tea Towel and Rotary Cutter Sleeve.

Two Scissors Keeps...

and of course the Driftwood Tree.

I still can't show you the gift and ornie I made for SSCS as I haven't heard from my partner... Do hope the parcel hasn't gone astray...

Sew that's it for this year. I plan to have a good clean out of the Cave and make a list of UFOs and anything I know will never be finished by me I will pass on to someone else to finish...

Happy Stitching,
Hugz  Maria  :)

  2. LOVE the idea of the dolly in the basket. HOw cute. And I happen to be in possession of the other scissors keep, and it is a treasure. It will be going to Sit 'n Sew tomorrow, and I'm sure the other ladies will all be so jealous! You've had a very productive month, and here's wishing more great finishes in the New Year!!

  3. I love the tree ornament that you sent me--that little wood heart button is so cute!
I have so many neat buttons, wood and other materials--I need to find more projects in 2018 that I can use them on--seems that I spend all my time making blocks and putting tops together that I don't get to do other crafty things--gotta change that!!!
love all the things you showed today--great work and finishes--
    enjoy-di
