I got up early and drove into Geraldton to visit DD, GD, GDIL and the four GGC....
then in the afternoon it was off to the dentist for my annual check up and before driving home I did some grocery shopping...
After dinner I decided I needed to iron the pile of placemats and rug mugs before sitting down in the Cave to join Cheryll and friends for FnwFs
I only managed to get the borders onto " Fernhill " by Lynette Anderson
and two onto my "Monsters" by Toni form Red Boot Company
Hope to join in again later this evening and sew along with my Northern Hemisphere friends...
Happy Stitching ,
Hugz Maria :)
busy you! I hope your family is well. keep sewing friend!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had fun with family and that gave you something to think about besides the dentist!!! and you did get some good food to eat at the store--hopefully==and even had energy to do some sewing along with friends--sounds like a great day to me--
ReplyDeleteenjoy the moments, di
I'd have been too exhausted to sew anything after your busy day! You must be very good at planning to get that all done in a day.
ReplyDeleteVery organised and busy day well done on adding borders to both your projects. !
ReplyDeleteYou had a busy day... and still managed to drop by... well done! Xox
ReplyDeleteSounded like you had a busy day, that road looks like a long straight road to nowhere!! 😀 Well done with the sewing, getting borders on is one step in what needs to be done, ai think I would have been lounging on the couch after a busy day like yours.
ReplyDeleteYou did do the rounds. Busy girl! But you did get stitching done as well. Great work xx
ReplyDeletethat's a busy day......
ReplyDeleteHugz
Sounds like a full-on day Maria - good that you managed to fit in some sewing as well!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just hate it when life interferes with sewing?
ReplyDeleteYou got a lot done in a very busy day. Hope you had a good visit with your family x
ReplyDeleteI think you did very good! That's a lot done. Well a lot in my book. Love the placemats!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you got a fair bit done, Maria. How lovely catching up with the family. Although I don't know if the dentist part would have been very enjoyable!
ReplyDeleteA sewing session at the end of an active day helps you calm down for the night!
ReplyDeleteSometimes life just gets in the way! Placemats! I need to make some new ones! During the spring before I left Tx, I made my daughter new ones from upcycled denim and assorted batiks. They were quick, easy, and awfully pretty.
