The Week that Was...

First I can show you the "Christmas Post Card" that went winging it's way over to Lin in France..

Thanks Sheila for organising another fun Post Card Swap....

After returning from our little trip in the Humpy and going to my SIL's special birthday in the Big Smoke last weekend it was time to try and catch up on my "Splendid Sampler Blocks"

Boy I didn't realise how far behind I am... Ah well I'll just keep plodding along...

Two weeks ago I joined Joy for the UFO Christmas Challenge . I had started the " Jingle Bell "  table runner by Red Brolley  some time ago...

When my Patch friend Jan saw the pattern we decided it would be a great project "Mystery Christmas" workshop for our club members.

We sent out the fabric requirements and today when we got together at the Autumn Center were we revealed the pattern... ( it was a good way to get me organised and finish it )

All loved it and had a busy time putting all the squares together and ironing on the applique pieces before it was time to up pack and go home.

OH! and I found two more UFO Christmas projects when going through the Christmas fabric box.....

Two Advent Calendars...  Will make them up for my GGC for an early Christmas present.

Hope you all have a great weekend and get to do some stitching..

Hugz Maria :)
