Not much

sewing going on here... Seam to have lost my Mojo after sewing every spare minute to get the quilt in previous post done..

Have been busy clean up after some big winds. One of the our huge Gum trees fell down on top of my Moreton Bay and broke it in two. I have grown it from a tiny little plant I found growing in a crack along our main street called Moreton Terrace..

I do hope it will shoot again at the top.

Also I did a bit of baking which is very unusual for me, really don't like cooking at all..

                                                                Banana Muffins

Fruit Cake.

Today I saw that Fiona from BugzRugz has joined a Christmas Challenge organised by Joy sew I thought I'd join in and finish my only Christmas UFO..
You can go over HERE and join in too.

Okay I am off to start sewing these blocks together

Happy Stitching

  5. I'll have a banana muffin please! Sorry to hear about your tree. Our neighbors killed a small tree of ours several years ago. So sad. I forgot about Joy's challenge. I better get busy!!!

  10. O, I am so very sorry about your lovely little tree - after all that love and consideration put into it. I Hate it when things like that happen. It is funny how your Mojo can get sidetracked after a busy spell. It's like all of your spirit ran out temporarily -then you have to find a way to engage it once again. I think that's just part of the process . After I had shared some cooking experiences with a young friend over the summer she had said, Boy, you must love to cook - to which I replied - I HATE to cook - but I just love to eat????? LOL

  11. Aww - poor tree. I do hope it continues to grow and looks even better. I don't blame you for taking a break after completing that beautiful quilt in record time. However, I bet you get this Christmas quilt completed pretty quick once you start on it, as those fabrics are so pretty and lively and Christmasy.
