It’s time

I woke up this morning to a beautiful sunny day sew I decided it was time to find my mojo for patchwork …

I just don’t seam to be able to find anything that inspires me to go hunting in my stash for an interesting project…

have been busy making these for our “Little Humpy”. Our 37 year old caravan… That badly needs a facelift.

and I have worked on a few secret sewing projects too…

BUT the joy seams to have gone out of sewing…Sad smile.  Has anyone out there got my MOJO ???????? I would really like to find it..

I will go to Patch this morning and see if I left it there…

  1. Oh no Maria - that is no god - to want to sew but not wanting to...(if you get what I mean)..maybe a change of focus...hand piecing instead of machine work, knitting, crocheting, cross stitch...I can send you a share of my mojo - I have plenty of mojo - just lacking the time to do it all.

  11. Perhaps your mojo is with mine, on a sunny beach somewhere. Good luck in finding it! Perhaps you should come visit me, and we'll go searching together.

  12. Oh dear! I might have your mojo because some arrived suddenly a couple of weeks ago! I thought it was mine hiding in my studio but maybe you'd dropped yours here one day. Not sure I want to give it back until I finish a few UFOs though.

  13. Sometimes we just need time out to regroup and give our creativity time to recharge...your mojo is just resting. How wonderful to have a van of that vintage. I bet it could tell some tales. Love your beautiful opening photo. be kind to yourself Maria hugs xxx

  16. I certainly hate it when my mojo takes a holiday. But I try and remember that it needs and loves me and is going to come home sometime. I hold yours returns soon!

  18. I hope you got out to enjoy that gorgeous morning and had a nice time relaxing with your patch friends.
Cool new decoration for the humpy.
Maybe your mojo is lost, I'm sure the one residing here doesn't belong to me.

  19. Oh, Maria! I think your mojo needed to take a little break and give you a chance to relax and unwind! It's hiding in a bright stack of fun fabrics in your sewing room...waiting for you to find him!!

  20. Oh Mum,
Your Mojo has run away, that is what happens when you have to much on our mine.
There was some good ideas about changing direction.
We can have some laughs next week, Ok

  21. I think our Mojo's may have eloped together Maria - mine's kinda not here either - maybe the Craft Fair will provide some inspiration?
Just don't get too frustrated with yourself, you'll find something to capture your interest again soon, I'm sure...

  22. A beautiful sunrise! Thank you for sharing. I think we all go through stages of wanting to and yet not finding the ambition to actually do it. Maybe it is just a time to relax and do something else you enjoy and the mojo will return.

  23. Just go with it, Maria! Don't let it become stressful. Sometimes, when I've lost my mojo, I sit with my piles of old quilt magazines and catalogs (which I don't save anymore!) in hopes that I'll be inspired. In the meantime, enjoy something else that gives you pleasure!
