The Jelly Roll Quilt

Last week I attended a Jelly Roll workshop with our Patch group. Tutor Kerry Moore come from Perth to teach us..

I worked on my flimsy all week and on Wednesday went to Patch to sandwich it. Then I quilted ,quilted and quilted… and this afternoon I completed the binding and finished my version of

my looks very different and at first I wasn’t sure if I had picked the right Jelly roll to make it BUT I am very happy with the pretty quilt….

Tried to take a photo in my favourite spot but the wind was just too strong.

finally I gave up and hung it under the verandah….

    Oh Maria, your quilt is beautiful! Makes me want to make one like it. My list of things to sew after I get my novel finished is growing by the day... lol

    Love it! I think it's a great fabric choice - it's so exciting that a change in fabric can make such a different quilt. Well done - and whoa, fast work!!!
