OFW, A4A and More……

This week I managed to add another row to my “I Spy” Hexie quilt….

Oct 2nd 2013

It’s slowly growing…….. Nice to join Karen and ladies again this week after being away...

Last Thursday we were given the blocks that joined the top part of our Aiming 4 Accuracy quilt together….

looking great

It’s looking great.. I am very happy with it and the virtual quilt, can see it top right of my blog, was such a good help with placing colours. Thanks to Helen who updates it for me each week.

Have stitched Ellyn’s September Stitchery block…… Sew now you can do the one for October Ellyn, thanks XX

and I have got the builder back on site as I decided the houses needed some more quilting….

Silly me….

Today I was surprised to find a Red and White card in my mail box which meant there was a parcel in the Post Office for me….

Look at the lovely gifts Mhairi sent me with her Special Rug Mug. It has a little pocket for a reel of cotton and a wee pincushion in the top right hand corner.… Two FQs, a thread catcher and a tape measure as well. Thank you Mhairi……

and now it’s time for a Milo and bed… Goodnight

  5. love seeing your hexie quilt growing but it makes me feel guilty that I haven't touched mine for a bit. I have to make more stepping stones.
Your a4a blocks are coming together beautifully. Love the fabrics especially the blues they are so pretty. Are the houses making an appearance at your hanging next week?

  6. The flowers are gorgeous, Maria. Your accuracy quilt is also very nice. Will you have the houses finished for the hanging? That is such a great quilt.

The A4A is amazing already, well done you.
