On Saturday I attended a “Meshing Workshop” run by Joy and Sandi with my friends at Patch…
We had a fabulous day learning a new fiddley skill…
and of course we had lots of yummy morning tea and Pumpkin soup with fresh bread and quiche for lunch.. Sorry no photos, too busy to get back to work….
These are the three pieces I worked on… Now to make them into something ????
A big thanks to all for a great day..
Must run or I will be late for Zumba..

ReplyDeleteYour new pieces look beautiful, I look forward to seeing what you make with them.
ReplyDeleteThat looks interesting Maria, you will find some creative inspiration for those pieces, I'm sure...
ReplyDeleteI have seen this technique, but it was called weaving. It creates such a fabulous effect, although your black and white one has me scratching my head - how did you do that?? No, I don't expect you to describe it to me, but it looks great!
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was an amazing day...love your projects
ReplyDeleteWOW! These are great...They are all unique. First I liked the colors in the "basket weave", then I saw the black and white and thought WOW! But then the third one, and I thought--that is a talented lady...But second thought, I already knew that!
ReplyDeleteWow, this looks fun and fiddly - what a great workshop to do.Love the different effects you've achieved in the differenet pieces.
