Christmas Angel Swap and SSCS Swap

This year I participated in two Christmas Swaps. The first  was "Christmas Angel Swap" organised by Karen. It is not a secret swap and my partner was June  (no blog).
These are the beautiful gifts I received from June and opened Christmas Morning…
A HUGE Stocking, Candle mat, Mini Wall hanging, a framed stitchery, Christmas postcard, tag and ornament all made by June . As well a little reindeer bowl, lovely fabrics, pattern, ribbons, red shiny bells, the cutest tiny buttons and some Rusty bells that I have always wanted…

Hmmmm !!!! there is something missing ???? The “Liquorice All Sorts”.. Couldn’t wait to open this one and we ate them all before Christmas… Yummmm……………….

Christmas angel Swap 2012

Second Swap was "SSCS" organised by Chooky. This was a secret swap and my partner was Diane who lived in the UK. For the swap we make a christmas Ornament ,which can be opened when it arrives, and a gift to put under  the tree for Christmas Morning.
Of course it was fun waiting to see who my partner was and where they lived sew when a parcel arrived from Miche'le of Hoki Quilts NZ. I knew Miche’le was my secret partner.
Look at my gorgeous Little Cross Stitched Stocking I received…

Miche’le must have been stalking my blog and knew I was a Red Hatter as she made this lovely Red Hatters Sewing Kit.. Love the tiny Red Hat on the zip. She popped goodies in each pocket and also sent

  9. What fun to open such lovely gifts! And our weather was about the same. Temps in the 40's (F), and white snow instead of white sand!
