In’s, Out’s and a Clean Up
After the Easter/Anzac break I went into town to post my MAY Swap blocks. A parcel for Cheryll and Jan.
Christmas Blocks
Aussie Swap
Gai’s Block.
It was sew good to have sew many days to stitch.
I was delighted to also pick some lovely mail for me .
My beautiful block from Gai with a great FQ as well.
The giveaway I won from Janet, A Novel and look at the other wonderful treats Janet popped in. Two magazines and a beautiful purse. Just love the fabric you used .
and the cutest Easter Card from my special Kiwi friends from across the ditch.
Thanks heaps to all of you.
Today was much cooler so after a walk along the beach I came home and FINALLY cleaned out my SHED.
There have been little furry things living in the there and left their droppings all over my bench and light box. YUK!!!
I took everything out and then swept and scrubbed.
Even bleached my fish .
Ah!!! Nice and clean.
Now I can finally finish my window and not before time. If you click on the word window you will see what I mean.
I hope to sit in the sewing room tonight and TRY to finish a quilt before the end of the month.
Happy Stitching.

FNSI and into SMSI
Last night I sat down to do some small simple projects (so I thought LOL) for FNSI.
Stitched a small stitchery onto some Christmas fabric to make my Santa sack for a swap. Then stitch fabric together. Next put in two button holes for the cord. Simple??? LOL. When I turned the hem I had
YEP!! put them on the wrong side. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!
Okay will just do them again on the outside. When I was done turned the bag to put in cord and Noooooooooooo!!!
Buttonholes were on the other side of the stitchery . Did not take a photo. Too mad. Unpicked the stitchery, re stitched on the BUTTONHOLE side, popped in cord and Taa Dahhh.
Must say I am happy with my little sack NOW!! Hope my partner will be.
I continued stitching into early SMSI and also finished this.
A small Christmas hanging to put in my gift box.
Did you enjoy your FNSI and did you stitch into SMSI too??

My block Christmas Block send by Dawn from England.
and TWO blocks from Fiona, Qld Australia for the Aussie Swap.
and the last parcel arrived yesterday.
It was sent by Naomi, South Australia. My Tilda Easter Swap which was run by Cat and Lisa.
Oh!! Look at my Bunny !! I have called her “Tilly” Love her floral dress and yellow pantaloons. Lovely bunny tea towel, card purse, pen and MORE Lindt chocies. (They are still in the fridge.)
Tilly has made herself right at home here on the block.

Busy Days.
I have been busy this week washing and ironing. The good kind. My quilting fabrics.
I want to make a few charity quilts for kids out of these.
Last year one of the blogs I follow had a giveaway. It was a UFO Elaine had not finished. Would you believe I was lucky enough to win it. LOL. The blocks travelled from Canton, Texas to Western Australia.
After putting the blocks together I finished it at Patch this week and I am pleased how it turned out.
This is not the end of the blocks travels as I am sending the quilt to N.Z.
Another UFO completed and one for OPAM.
Have a wonderful weekend.
