Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

Tonight I was chatting to my DD2. She said she was having a lot of trouble making 29 costumes for her DD dance concert.
She told me sometimes you just what to throw your overlocker out the window.
WELL!!  Later I understood what she meant. I was  going to throw my sewing machine out the window too.
I just wanted to fill a bobbin. The thread broke several times and then finally when it was filling I went out of the room only to return to this.

Okay I will fill another bobbin
using this one. It also jumped off a few times. AH!! I know ,slow down the speed.

005         That worked and I also wasted at least a half an hour.
But I am pleased to say I did finish another gift.

  1. Hi Maria,

Thanks so much, I look forward to swapping with you too.

I was just browsing your blog (I am a follower now too!) and I love your quilts- especially your bird/owl quilt and your owl coasters. Very cute.

  2. Pleased you sorted it out - but very frustrating!!! I have a tangled bobbin of Bobbin-fill - I think I may have to throw the whole thing out - bobbin and all!!

  3. Glad you were able to get the bobbin loaded and finish a gift. That is so frustrating whenever you want to do something and the machine doesn't cooperate. You have been busy lately.

Most frustrating when that happens... and I always want to find out 'WHY'.....

  5. What? You left the room while the bobbin was filling....that's like leaving the microwave to pop corn alone!

  7. I'm glad you got the problem resolved. I'm taking my machine, Fiona, in to the shop tomorrow. She has tension problems. Keep on sewing!

  10. Oh how frustrating - I have to press the foot on my machine to wind the bobbin and I must say it's one of my favourite jobs but also means I have to remain at the machine.

Hope your little machine is behaving herself now :0)
