Well I would rather have rabbits than rats. My cat has found a nest and likes to bring them in the house to play at 4am. They have knocked the old house down in the street behind me, my guess is thats where the rats come from.
They are getting very brave. I can't believe they come that close to the human population. We have deer that come day or night and eat our plants. I got up to go to the bathroom the other night and one was right at the bedroom window and never moved when I turned on the light.
when we first moved here I planted some tomatoes in a pot. I had the pot on top of a table, with wire mesh around the plants. One day I went out & there was this rabbit, sitting on the table with a tomato in his paws & tomato juice dripping off his chin. He just looked up at me as if to say "what? these aren't for me?" LOL
It's just like those wascally wabbits to dig at your door. Elma Fud would shoot at bugs...(but miss of course)bunny's are so clever!

Maybe you should make them a little quilt and put it outside, before they decide to move in! Poor little wabbits.

I have a rabbit living in my dining room...haha....it is my bet bunny and it got to cold for his cage in the garage....he is in heaven!
