The Day After
The day after Christmas we all feel like this
Except it is far too hot to have the Santa hat on here.
It Is
under our verandah. So I am sitting inside with the Air Con on.
We had a lovely Christmas Day. I was very spoilt by all my family and friends.
So many beautiful gifts but the smallest one was just so cute .
From my dear friend Pat.
Look what was in the wee draw!!
How sweet is that!!
A special gift all the way from Germany sent by Rena. One of my blogging friends.
We agreed to wait and open our gifts on Christmas morning.
Love my surprise gifts. A gorgeous Christmas Mug Rug and ornaments I can use each year. Thank you Rena.
Hope you all had a great day.

FNSI .
Last night I sat down and completed the final Christmas gift for this year.
Can only give you a
sneak peak.
Next I decided start stitching my "Postage Stamp Quilt" . Heidi had invited us to join her in Feb to make this quilt. She has kindly put a tutorial on her blog.
I thought it would go together quickly but it is not so. Maybe I am just a slow seamstress.
Stripes ready to go.
My first set completed. I will work on it again later today.
Must away now as I am off into town for a coffee with a friend.

Busy Stitching.
I have had so much fun with all my cobblestone blocks.
Now I can post the quilt I have made for my GD1‘s birthday. I gave it to her last Tuesday.
Here are all my table runners I have made in different sizes for Christmas presents. I HOPE they are not blog readers.
While reading some blogs I came across this "Wonky House Block" swap
I thought it would be fun to make.
I have now caught up with my swaps and only have one gift to complete. Yeh!!

FNSI.
I spent this FNSI at my DD2’s home in Perth.
After the kids had gone to bed we had a snack before heading into the craft room.
DD2 sat and relaxed doing some hand stitching. She had spent many hours over the past few weeks in the sweet shop sewing 27 dance costumes for her DD concert.
All packed ready to go!!
I moved into a corner of the Craft Room much to Holly’s disgust.
It seems this is her chair!!
I did manage to get some of my Christmas sewing done and last night I finished off a swap block.
A table Runner.
and nearly completed a tote.
I really enjoyed doing FNSI this week with my DD2.

Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
Tonight I was chatting to my DD2. She said she was having a lot of trouble making 29 costumes for her DD dance concert.
She told me sometimes you just what to throw your overlocker out the window.
WELL!! Later I understood what she meant. I was going to throw my sewing machine out the window too.
I just wanted to fill a bobbin. The thread broke several times and then finally when it was filling I went out of the room only to return to this.
Okay I will fill another bobbin
using this one. It also jumped off a few times. AH!! I know ,slow down the speed.
That worked and I also wasted at least a half an hour.
But I am pleased to say I did finish another gift.
