Blocks and a Start for FNSI....

Always enjoy joining Wendy and the ladies for FNSI and I was able to make two more Splendid Sampler blocks...



and make a start on quilting Natures Journey...






I stitched around the centre ,under the peeper, and shadow quilted along the diamonds now I don't know what to do next ???? any ideas !!!

thank you Wendy for another fun night of sewing....



 Today I spend a fun filled day at Patch with the ladies and special friend Jan M from Pinjarra....

  4. Saturday's are never very crafty. It's grocery shopping day, my least favorite job. A 40 minute ride one way, by the time all is said and done, I never have any creative energies! But tomorrow is another day! Your blocks look great! XO

  6. Can't wait to see your Nature's Journey all finished. I'm the worst for thinking up ways to quilt something, sorry. I'm sitting here in the A/C sweating, and in your pic at Patches, you're all bundled up for cold weather. LOL!

    were the same naughty ones you were with when I came to visit you. I
    don't recognize any of them...must be a new group of 'funnies' you hang
    around with. lol Looks like fun.

  11. Your SS blocks are looking great Maria, good on you for keeping up! How exciting to be quilting Natures Journey.... it sounds like you made some good progress - I find deciding what to quilt is the hardest part of the process!

  18. Cute squirrel, how clever of you to give him acorns instead of the flower. For the quilting, my least favourite instruction is "quilt as desired"! I would desire something more complicated than my skills allow.
