Visiting and FnwFs….

Spending a few days in the big smoke for my DDs birthday ..
We went out for the day. Coffee and cake by the beach.







and lots of retail therapy












then after the Squids organised dinner for everyone DD and I went into the craft room and stitched with Cheryll and friends for FnwFs 


I managed some stitching on my NJ SAL for July…






Holly thought it was a great place to sit….







and also started a new stitchery with the nice thread I received from Peg…. 






DD and I had lots laughs stitching along all evening.

Thanks Cheryll for getting us together again for FnwFs and I will pop over to visit others over the next few days…

OPAM for June.

I sewed and sewed over the past few days to get my 9Patch/Snowball quilt finished for this months OPAM …

Some Lovely Post

I have received some beautiful things in the post in the past week.

Firstly it was my Postcard from Pauline in the UK ,



this theme was  'Summer' and Pauline called her postcard card “Summer Flowers” thank you Pauline I love it..

I sent Pauline “Beach Houses”



It is always such fun to create these little postcards, thanks Sheila for organising the swap again….

A few weeks ago I was one of the lucky winners of Peg's giveaway and it arrived today …



A beautiful purse and threads… Great purse for that small portable project and I can't wait to use the pretty threads...  Thank you Peg XX

A Finish for FNSI…..

It was sew nice to just sit in the cave and sew along with Wendy all the ladies joining in for FNSI last night…

did the quilting on my Bargello Christmas Table runner,





and found a suitable fabric for the binding sew now it is DONE!!!!!!

will sort through my fabrics today sew I can start sewing some Secret Santa stuff tonight along with the Northern Hemisphere ladies….

Will pop over to visit all over the next few days HERE.

Bargellos, FNSI, BOM and a SAL…..

Can’t believe it’s been nearly two weeks since I posted… My days just fly by sew quickly.

Firstly I will show you some of the different Bargellos our members have been working on….

Biggest Morning Tea, FnwFs and Workshop.

Yesterday our Town put on The Biggest Morning Tea for the Cancer Council of WA..  We had a teapot with tea cosies on each table as prizes. Thank you to my Sweet blogging friend Anita who made this cute one for us …







It was sew busy that I missed who the lucky lady was that won Anita’s tea cosy..   Sadly it wasn't me. ..







The morning was a very successful raising over $5000 for the Cancer Council from our small town.



Sew it was really nice to sit, relax and sew along with Cheryll and Friends….Thanks Ladies….

firstly I did some more quilting . You can see what I am working  HERE.
When my shoulders and back were aching I had a rest and got all my gear ready for the Bargello Workshop …

Afterwards I enjoyed making another Stitchery roll...








and then of to bed…ZZZZZZZZ

and when I got home at 5pm  Lacy needed a walk…..

9Patch and Snowball

Five months ago I joined Terry for another SAL. This one was A 9Patch and Snowballs ….

I have finally got my Flimsy put together and sandwiched ready to quilt….





It is 9 blocks across and 13 down.. Great for Hubby to use on his recliner… Thanks Terry was a great way to use up heaps of 2 1/2 inch blocks..


YEH!!!!!!! Blogger has let me use Windows Live Writer again…
