Guess there will be some reverse sewing happening .

A Nice Parcel !

After a quick trip to the Big Smoke through pouring rain both there on Sunday and again on our way home last night.

It was sew nice to find the red and white card in mail box for a parcel today. Couldn't wait to get home sew I could see what was inside. It revealed these beautifully wrapped gifts from Santa.. Oh! It is so hard not to open them... Wonder who sent them from East Ivanhoe Victoria ???  Have to wait till Friday to find out...

FNSI for July

Last night I joined the lovely Wendy and 56 other ladies for FNSI .

I was happy to be working on this UFO.






all the strips were sewn together and cut into squares.











I sewed the top few rows together and  was hoping to get the rest finished tonight. BUT we keep having power outages sew I guess that won’t be happening.

Thankfully my trusty ole Laptop is fully charged sew I can do my post and go over HERE to see what others have done. You may also like to visit..

How the Days Fly By

While hubby is recovering I have been kept busy mowing “The Block” …

  After five hours of mowing ONE side of “ The Block” it is looking better.





I managed to  work on some secret sewing and to get the  parcels in the post…












Have also been in the Cave for some tiding and found lots UFOs tucked away in boxes….











I really would love to get them all done but there are just not enough hours in my day 
Perhaps I should start  on one for FNSI with Wendy . It's a great way to sit and sew with our online friends and get some sewing done.. You can sign on HERE to join us…

Fnwfs

Yesterday afternoon I spend heaps of time in the cave going through my stash to find just the right fabrics for my projects for FnwFs.
first I went through these…





for my  July "Aussie Swap Block"





and then played with these….





then traced my last ( sob )  “WHOO OWL BOM " 




Met " Mr Horton " 



Now to join him and all the other owls into  “A Parliament.”


It is sew nice to have my mojo back and enjoy sewing along for FnwFs organised by the lovely Cheryll I will be going visiting HERE over the weekend to see what you have all been doing.


Must away as the sun is shining sew I am off to a lovely long walk with my friend Louise then afterwards coffee and freshly make Friands at her house….

what arrived in the post today…… Such a pretty parcel..






It was my “Inspirational Words Mini” from the sweet Illene.





and not only did Illene stitch this gorgeous Mini , with a beautiful verse, I was also spoilt with a lovely manicure set and yummy choccie.

Thank you sew much Illene. I love it…

Looking forward to making and receiving the next Mini thanks to our Swap Mum Cheryll for organising us all year…

OPAM finishes for June.

Can't believe it's the end of June and half the year is over… This year is going far too fast..

My “Goodnight Irene” and I am very happy with the little red border …..


The blocks I received over 10 months from my Aussie Swap partners I have finally made into a quilt and they look great together……






I also made my 12” Embroidery Mini for Melanie





      and a Christmas Angel.
