OFW and HOUSES !!!!!!!

It is always nice to sit and stitch a flower on Tuesday evening sew I can join Karen for OFW.

Finally the builder has decided to work on my houses again…








As they are being joined together it brings back many memories of the fabrics used. Lots of the windows were sent to me by blogging friends and I think of them as I sew…

A Trip to the Big Smoke….

On our way to Perth yesterday there was a young lady with a blown tyre on the side of the road. DH stopped and helped her.



It makes you realise how easy it is for something to go wrong. Luckily she was a good driver and able to control the vehicle and keep herself and little son safe…  After a tyre change and a little repair, we were pleased to see them safely on their way..


While in the city I had to find some backing to finish a few swaps I was working on




The store had a half price sale sew of course I just HAD to buy some fabrics to take home , LOL





this evening I managed to finish my swaps,

OFW and Nice Mail…

This week I haven’t stitched a flower to add to my garden but did these instead..



They are the stitchery stepping stones for my Vignette Hexagon Quilt I started sooo long ago..
thanks to Karen at OFW  I still keep plodding along with my hexie projects. So far I am the only one who has signed in HERE. Do pop over in sign in too………..

What did you do for FNwFs??   I had a very special evening as it was also “Midnight Madness” with the Patch ladies sew spent my evening with them too ... We had Pizza for tea and just sewed till late….

A Busy Easter Weekend….

We had a fabulous fun filled Easter weekend. The weather was perfect for spending time at the beach….


Surfing…



Playing in the sand…



Time for a ride on the quad..




and also played some Mah Jong in the afternoons.


The block is a great place to hide lots of Easter Eggs…...



Oh! I think they have missed one !!!!!!

Monday was time for DD and the GC to go back to the city sew I went into the cave to keep busy.





enjoyed putting together my second block for my BOM Owl Quilt..
