I joined all the bits of blue bindings I had ready sew onto the back first and fold over to front and machine sew down.
Taa Dah !!!! Folded ready to donate. So happy to have a nice quilt suitable for a man.
Simply Serene is a great simple pattern which I'm sure I'll make again.
In the evening I sat and hand sewed the bottom quarter of LaLa Passacaglia together...
My next project to work on will be putting the first top and bottom borders on "Sunshine and Lollipop"
Now I must away and plug in the lap top before I run out of battery.
Happy stitching

A much better choice to sew than vacuum. A lovely finish.
ReplyDeleteI love that bee fabric!
ReplyDeletehaha, I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets distracted like that!! Great to see La P coming together and the man quilt is lovely

A very productive evening. I’m looking forward to playing with Simply Serene when I get to it….eventually.
ReplyDeleteI love that sewing took preference over vacuuming! lol. That is a great looking man’s quilt. Nice to see LP coming together too.
ReplyDeleteI would rather sew than vacuum any day, I have Simply Serene cut and ready but it's way down the list, your La Passa is looking beautiful
ReplyDeleteNow that is a great side track. Beautiful finish!
ReplyDeleteNeglecting the vacuum cleaner to sew—yes, I can totally picture that.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt... and your other two projects are absolutely amazing—good luck!
