Afterwards I enjoyed spending time finishing block #3 of "Sunshine and Lollipop" in airconditioned comfort.
I'm having so much trouble with blogger and just can't load photos on my iPad so have to go to my laptop...
Must away shower and go to bed.
Happy Stitching, Hugs Maria ❤️
Love your completed block, so bright and pretty. I really do wish we were having better weather, This summer has been awful here in NZ, the coolest and wettest I have experienced, even compared to some UK summers. Today we have torrential rain, the tail end of a cyclone. It's been raining non stop for almost 12 hours.
ReplyDeleteHaving a dip in the sea certainly is a great start to the day. I do hope you are safe where you live, I've seen on the news about several shark attacks in other parts of Oz.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like an ideal start to hot days. Your block is looking good.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the way to start the day in this hot weather. Lovely bright and cheerful blocks.
ReplyDeleteOmg, blogger, google and photos. I am so over it. It says I can’t access so I sign out go and look, sign back in and it works once then not. It takes going in and out so many times it does my head in. We are headed for mid 40’s over the next 5 days too. Lucky you can go for a dip
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely way to start the day Maria. Love your Lollipops! xx
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is shaping up beautifully. I, myself, appreciate the photos of sunshine, blue sky and beach. You don't want to see what WE have right now!!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is looking gorgeous. I have always been a bit envious of your walk for a bob in the water... so hot - we don't have those temps but I don't remember so many hot sticky days!
ReplyDeleteHugz
That sounds like an enjoyable start to your days Maria - and air-con must be so essential in those temperatures! Your quilt is looking lovely.
ReplyDeleteWonderful start to your day Maria, walking and bobbing!! Loving your quilt, and air con is a must for you guys.
ReplyDeleteSunshine and Lollipop is gorgeous! Love it so much.
ReplyDeleteI also enjoyed the sand walk photo.
Try to stay cool while I sleep with my heated rice bag.
the ocean looks very inviting Maria, your sunshine and lollipops is lovely and bright.
ReplyDeleteJust returning to Blogger and was disillusioned by reading of your problems with it. Your Sunshine and Lollipops is darling. I’m sure there are lots of snow covered readers who would be jealous of your temps! We’ve had such lovely warm weather for the last month. Summer will probably be cold again this year. We can’t win, can we?
ReplyDeleteYour blog is absolutely amazing – I love every single piece of fabric in it...
ReplyDeleteand your first picture is a dream, like something out of a travel brochure. Ahh – beautiful. Have fun swimming in the sea with your friend...
and of course, enjoy your sewing!
It's -5 degrees and snowing here, everything is white outside. The skis are by the back door.
