Finally sandwiched and pinned the baby quilt and did simple serpentine stitching to quilt it.
.

I popped the roll of binding on the spool holder on the machine and it was so much easier to sew on the binding…
Time now to catch up on my Temperature Tree….
Must away and pop on the kettle for a cuppa before I start to stitch….
Happy Stitching,
Hugs. Maria 💕
Just beautiful, Maria. Enjoy your cuppa!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on completing your Choodshed Challenge this month, looks lot quite a bit of work in that large block. Your baby quilt is lovely, isnt the Serpentine stitch so handy!
ReplyDeleteWhich fabrics are you using for 'Sunshine and Lollipop' blocks ... they're gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYour baby quilt is very sweet ... clever idea to use the thread spool ... better than my empty toilet paper roll :)
S&L is looking great! serpentine stitch is such a great way to quilt things. the baby quilt is so pretty. Will it be Project 1 or 3???
ReplyDeleteGreat little quilt finish Maria. I do love your Sunshine and Lollipop block - just so pretty. xx
ReplyDeleteWow, great block and a finished quilt.

Love the fabrics in Sunshine and Lollipops. A lovely finish in that baby quilt.
ReplyDeleteYou have been productive. The quilt blocks are looking good. I like your idea with the binding on the spool holder. That doesn’t work with my machine, so I have it wrapped around the leg of the machine extension table, which is a similar procedure. The baby quilt is very cute. .
ReplyDeleteI love the Sunshine and lollipops fabrics, you have been busy
