FnwFs for April..

As it was the first Friday of the month it was time to join Cheryll for FnwFs . I always enjoy these nights as I like to get organised to sew my different monthly blocks.

For April Angela choose RED. So I got out my reds and made two FISH blocks and two HST nine patches.

Then onto the Aussie Hero blocks….

Later in the evening I stitched a few more leaves on the Temperature Tree.

We’ve had really hot weather here and I noticed the bird bath I have on our front verandah needed filling everyday which is unusual. This morning I heard a noise and when I pulled back the curtain I discovered why the bird bath needed filling.

How special to see the kangaroos come and visit and enjoy a drink this morning…..

Must away now and to have some lunch

Happy Stitching….

Hugs Maria 💖

  1. Quick work with the red scraps. How lovely that the roos know where they can get water.

  3. What nice bright fish--red is always a fun color to work with--along with the 9 patches--and the blue blocks are calming to look at--and how fun to have the roos come and visit and have a 'drink' at your house!!! hugs, di

  6. A very good start to the month. At least the roo has found somewhere for a drink. I can’t believe how hot you still are. We have our first frost this morning.

  7. Love your red fish and blocks.
Temp Tree is looking good but I don't envy your hot temps...I'm sitting with a coat on this morning.

  10. Love those fish blocks. Your temperature tree was too tempting for me. I bought the pattern in hopes that I will use it for a project next year.
