Clayton’s Scrub Stitching .( Thursday )

After Brekky I went for my morning dips as we’re still having temps in the 30s … Of course there is always the usual chores but afterwards I got some more quilting done on # 4 Challenge quilt.

When my shoulders told me that’s enough quilting I found some fabrics to cut blocks for this scrappy table runner….

Must away and make a cuppa…

Happy Stitching ,

Clayton Scrub Stitching. (Wednesday)

My day started by going for a beautiful morning dip with my friends , home, showered and did some cleaning  then it was time to head into the Cave to join in with Susan for Clayton’s Scrub Stitching.

First I did some simple stippling in the cream sections of my # 4 Chookshed Challenge,  Ready, Set Sew quilt.

As hubby had a mate visiting we all went out for dinner and afterwards I played with some hexies for a pouch while watching “Alone” followed by the “Handmaids Tales”

Don’t know why I’m having trouble lately uploading good photos to blogger , photos are often blurry???

Must away as the washing machine is calling…

Happy stitching

Hugs. Maria 💕

Clayton's Scrub Stitching.

As many of us are unable to join Chooky and friends for the annual Scrub Stitching in Baradine Susan has organised a "Clayton's Scrub Stitching"  Here is a list I hope to work on,

1... Doing some quilting on my # 4 Chookshed Challenge,

2... Do some hexies for a pouch,

3..Cut out a table Runner.

That's it for now and if I get that done I'm sure I can find something else.

Must away now and check the roast dinner,

Happy Stitching .

FnwFs for April..

As it was the first Friday of the month it was time to join Cheryll for FnwFs . I always enjoy these nights as I like to get organised to sew my different monthly blocks.

For April Angela choose RED. So I got out my reds and made two FISH blocks and two HST nine patches.

Then onto the Aussie Hero blocks….

Later in the evening I stitched a few more leaves on the Temperature Tree.

We’ve had really hot weather here and I noticed the bird bath I have on our front verandah needed filling everyday which is unusual. This morning I heard a noise and when I pulled back the curtain I discovered why the bird bath needed filling.

How special to see the kangaroos come and visit and enjoy a drink this morning…..

Must away now and to have some lunch

Happy Stitching….

Hugs Maria 💖
