After checking my list my #4 is to start a new project.
I have this HUGE box of scraps and I thought 🤔 what’s a girl to do with them???
So I bought this book.
I MAY be able to work on something smaller for a finish ???
As it’s also the first Friday of the month I’ll be joining FnwFs . Even though Cheryll. Has visitors she has kindly put up the link for us to sew a long. Thank so much because I am hoping to make my Aussie Hero blocks and #8and #9 of The Laundry Basket Birthday Blocks.
Must away and sort some fabrics.
Happy Stitching 🧵
Hugs Maria 💕
That is a fantastic pattern Maria, have fun! Will use lots of your scraps
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great design to be using up your scraps on Maria. xx
ReplyDeleteI have made this quilt Maria. Take your time, lay it out and slowly work your way through it. I used scraps too.
ReplyDeleteThat will certainly help you get rid of some scraps - maybe a lot of them!!! good idea to start the prepping now.
ReplyDeleteNice pattern. That will make a dent in your scraps.
ReplyDeleteThose scraps boxes seem to grow more scraps lol! You will have fun with the new book xx
ReplyDeleteGood for you Maria, to get to the scraps. Mine are calling to me but I keep ignoring them...I will enjoy seeing what you decide. Love the book.

Oh what a lovely pattern for your scraps.
ReplyDeleteI've always loved this quilt but thought it looked so intimidating! I will love watching you tackle it. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI am sure you will find the perfect project in the book for those scraps.
ReplyDeleteThat will be such a fun quilt to make with your scraps. Jen designs the best patterns. Two of the girls in my patchwork group have just started it. They want me to make it too, but I already have more than enough in the pipeline.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the scrappy project it looks very interesting
ReplyDeleteBe great to have your quilt all cut out now...... Ready just to sew at retreat.....
