The blocks have many tiny pieces and Block 6 had the smallest flying geese.
Block 7
then onto Aussie Hero Blocks..
After taking this photo I realised both blocks were wrong . Can you see what??
Before it was time to go to bed I had time to audition the fabrics for the next La Passacaglia block.
Thank you Wendy for another FNSI.
Must away now and cut the EPP blocks ready to stitch.
Happy Stitching 🧵

You have chosen beautiful shades of blue for the Laundry Basket quilt.
ReplyDeleteREally neat blocks on all the projects and work--Do really like the blues and browns on some of the blocks--keep it going---
ReplyDeletehugs, di
The birthday blocks are lovely. Those flying geese are so tiny.
ReplyDeleteStitching tiny pieces would not suit me at all!
ReplyDeleteGreat work with all those little pieces... I've looked and looked and can't see what was wrong with the blocks....

Love your Laundry Basket Blocks ... what is the finished block size?
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous fabrics for the La Passacaglia. Good luck with the LBQ birthday blocks. I was tempted to jump in with them too but so far have resisted. Your LBQ blocks look pretty too.
ReplyDeleteNice work on those small flying geese.
ReplyDeleteYour blue blocks are lovely and I am failing to see anything wrong with the black and white ones? Lovely Passacaglia fabrics. xx
ReplyDeleteLoving the colours on the laundry baskets and such lovely work ………. I could be wrong but the black and white ones …… is it those 2 little bits in the star that are wrong??? Still if it’s driving you crazy you know what you have to do …..either fix it or shut your eyes lol
ReplyDeleteOh - poop re the black & white blocks, but the basket quilt is coming along nicely.
ReplyDeleteThey are teensy flying geese and will be testing your piecing skills. Yep, I can see the mistake. Blast! I look forward to seeing your next La La block evolve.
ReplyDeleteAuditioning fabrics is a favorite part of the quilting process for me.
ReplyDeleteSorry your blocks were not quite right. Once I completely quilted a quilt before I realized I had sewed the center seam with the bottom half of the quilt turned wrong. Ugg!
