First I worked on sewing some of the HSTs for the border on the Laundry Basket Quilt,
One side is nearly done and while sewing them I also worked on a chevron baby quilt .
After reading Janice's 2023 Goal List where she noted an old cross stitch UFO I remembered I also had one tucked away that I started in 2001. So when I was tired of sewing I worked on it.

This was where I started .
Happy with the small progress I made before calling it a night.
Thank you Cheryll for a fun afternoon /evening of stitching with you and the ladies.
Must away now to read what others have done.
Hugs Maria ❤
Lots of HSTs and I see the cross stitch bug has bitten you too, another UFO getting some attention.
ReplyDeleteA good start there for the beginning of the year.

ReplyDeleteNice work on your triangles and chevrons. The cross stitch makes a nice change and it is good to get it moving again. xx
ReplyDeleteLovely projects to be working on. Love the cross stitch. So far i've been resisting my 2 ufo ones. Also resisting buying some of the lovely ones i've been seeing on IG. :)

ReplyDeleteYou did rather well. The border is going to look great. You have more patience than me. I’m so pleased to see you have started work on your cross stitch. Now we can keep each other motivated.
ReplyDeleteYour border is going to be pretty. Which laundry basket quilt is it for?

ReplyDeleteI don't know why my comment shows as being from Anonymous. I thought it had my name on it before it posted.
ReplyDeleteYou had great success at both the sewing machine and your cross stitch.
ReplyDeleteYour cross stitch project makes my fingers itch for something like that!
