First FnwFs for 2023

I was pleased to see Cheryll was organising us again this year for FnwFs as I really needed a push some encouragment to get my Mojo back. So I serviced the machine and got started.
First I worked on sewing some of the HSTs for the border on the Laundry Basket Quilt,

One side is nearly done and while sewing them I also worked on a chevron baby quilt .

After reading Janice's 2023 Goal List where she noted an old cross stitch UFO I remembered I also had one tucked away that I started in 2001. So when I was tired of sewing I worked on it.

This was where I started .

Happy with the small progress I made before calling it a night.

Thank you Cheryll for a fun afternoon /evening of stitching with you and the ladies.

Must away now to read what others have done.

Hugs  Maria ❤

  1. Lots of HSTs and I see the cross stitch bug has bitten you too, another UFO getting some attention.

  5. Nice work on your triangles and chevrons. The cross stitch makes a nice change and it is good to get it moving again. xx

  9. You did rather well. The border is going to look great. You have more patience than me. I’m so pleased to see you have started work on your cross stitch. Now we can keep each other motivated.
