Last FNSI for 2021

 A big thank you Wendy for keeping us going for FNSI during another crazy year. I always enjoy Friday evenings stitching along with all my friends .. I'm looking forward to joining in again for 2022...

For FNSI I finally finished stippling Hubby's  "Aussie Flag" quilt after a hiccup, 


because I had to keep the quilt folded in case Hubby come in and would see what I was sewing it got caught  and I sewed it double so there was some unpicking. 

As I used Bamboo wadding (which is very messy) I had to vacuum the floor and clean the machine before making a start to attaching the Stars on the quilt....


So now I must away and get some more of the Stars done ....

    Unpicking, yuck! I expect you will be full steam ahead getting that quilt done in time for Christmas. I'd love to see how it looks, maybe you can show us a pic of him unwrapping it?

    Im sure Hubby will be very appreciative of all the extra effort that has gone into the quilt....

    You had a productive Friday night in spite of the unpicking. I somehow missed the FNSI sign up but I did get some sewing done. Thanks for reminding me that I need to clean my machine! Have a great week.

    Oh the things we do! Unpicking quilting is not fun at all. Thanks for the little giftie that arrived a couple of days ago. Sew cute.

    That is annoying when things get caught together! Bamboo sure is messy, my machine needed a good clean recently too.
