FnwFs for July 2021


 Last night I joined Cheryll and friends for FnwFs and decided it was time to cut out , visoflex and buttonhole stitch the rest of  21 sets of eyes for the Piggy Quilt....





from the tiniest for the chicken




to the bigger ones for the piggies.....


after completing them I made the blocks for this months Aussie Hero mystery blocks......


It was a busy day today with doing some washing first before going into town for my Saturday morning coffee with my friend Jean. 
Then when I got home it was lovely to join Chooky for her Zoom meeting..









I enjoyed chatting with the ladies and also got some Hexies flowers sewn into sets of four


Must away to make my Milo before going to bed,

    The 'eyes' have it--for today--I love eyes on animals and people but oh sometimes they are very hard to make and get them on and still be nice and round or oval shaped--you did a great job, though! and your flower hexies are so pretty and look like spring!!!

    Those eyes look very small and fiddly. Pretty hexies. It was nice "catching up" yesterday via the screen.

    Buttonhole stitching those tiny chicken eyes does not sound like a fun job! Very cute chicken though.

    Those eys look fidly - especially by machine! I wouldnt even contemplate it! You had a nice sociable day - sadly had to miss out on the zoom again - life! xx

    Those eyes are a pain to do - necessary but fiddly.

    You fitted lots into your day Maria. The eyes make a big difference to the critters even though they can be fiddly to do! Cute hexies, too. Sorry I missed you while zooming - maybe next time?!

    Eye surgery on birds is even more demanding than on pigs. You must have steady hands to succeed, and you did very well!
