WOOFA finish and OPAM too for February 2021 .......

 I seam to have been lost lately as I haven't opened my Lap Top for a week , no posting and also haven't read any blogs... Sew I'm pleased to have both the lovely Cheryll giving us a gentle push by organising WOOFA each month and Kris encouraging us to post any finishes as well......

This month I have finally finished the "Sisters" quilt , 

now to find another project for March 

Sew the Sisters is also a Finish for OPAM  and I realised there are also 4 burp clothes to add......

OOPS nearly forgot the Steer Wheel Cover....

Big thank you to Cheryll and Kris and I hope to have a few more finishes next month..

Now I'm working on making some shields for Days for Girls sew I can have a nice big pile to take along to my first meeting Tuesday week after a year away....

FNSI for February 2021

 For some time I just haven't felt like sewing sew when Fiona from BubzRugz invited me to sew along with her and friends ( virtually  ) on Thursday I got organised and started to quilt my "Sisters" ...

Then on Friday it was time to join Wendy and 27 others for FNSI , and I'm happy to say with the help of my friends the 'Sisters" are now quilted... 

Just stippled around the white and shadow quilted the Sisters with a Heart in the center.

Now I just need to choose a binding .. Which one do you think ????

Later in the evening when I was digging in the cupboard for another project and this fell out. The ribbing from the bottom of one of hubby's windcheaters, ( don't ask why it was cut off as I don't remember) but for ages I've wanted a cover for my steering wheel. I have bought a few and none suited,

The ribbing made a perfect cover and after hand stitching it on today fits nicely......

Well I must away and see what others have been up to for FNSI...

FNSI for Feb 2021

Where have the days gone ??? Can't believe it's over a week since I posted or even sewed... Apart from going into the "Cave" to hunt for a pattern I haven't been in there.

I go for my morning dip each day and I don't seem to do anything else....

( it's lovely to see all the Black Swans as we walk over the boardwalk on the way to the beach.)

Seam to have lost my mojo completely sew by joining Wendy and others for FNSI hope to get back into the sewing mood...

It's great to sew along with virtual friends from all over the globe sew pop over HERE to sign in... You may even be lucky and win a prize from Kitty Rose at "Kitty Rose Cottages" who has kindly offered to sponsor FNSI

FnwFs and the week that was.....

 It was really nice to join Cheryll for FnwFs this last night and enjoy sewing along with her and 20 others....

I got my " Sisters" pinned which is my WOOFA project also organised Cheryll 

then after dinner I made my RSC blocks....

Today I did some repairs on hubby's " Aussie Flag" quilt as it's his favorite....

Earlier in the week I made some blocks for " Aussie Heros "

and Burp clothes to send to Jan Mac 

Did you know that a ruler can be NASTY !!!! 

When I bent down to turn on my iron I bumped the edge of the ruler which was on the cutting table and it fell down onto my hand.....

thankfully it's all healed now.....

Well must away now and tidy the "Cave"
