I did it !!

 My first ever Foundation Pieced Block....





It's a little wonky but I'm pleased with it...

Block 2 is better .. I don't think I'm hooked on FP  but the points look great.


It's a long weekend here in the West and the start of the school holidays so its very busy in our seaside town so

I must away and meet my friend for our Saturday Lunch before all the tourists take all the tables , Hahaha..

  15. Your block looks great, Maria. Once you get the hang of foundation piecing, it gets easier. I've made three FP quilts for each of the boys. Noah's ark for Mitchell, Australian animals and bird for Austin and Nelson's was farm animals.

  16. Wow! Your blocks look wonderful Maria. Enjoy your catchup lunch with your friend. My daughter lived in a beachside town and holiday season was always a pain....we visitors loved it lol!
