I had an early start to our FNSI with the wonderful Wendy and twenty other ladies .......
First I went through my scrap box and made these two Microwave Bowls
Then when I tidied the cutting table in the "Cave" and come across the FQs Sunny sent me. I thought one was perfect to make a pouch for my lightbox...
Had just enough left to make a pocket for the cord and charger... thanks Sunny....
next I put together this bag
completed the blocks I'll send to Carole for the " Carolina Hurricane Quilt Project"
and I did finish pinning the Gnomes which I hope to quilt soon.........
Thank you Wendy for another night of sewing and I look forward to another next Friday...
You can check out what others have done HERE ......
Must away to make a cuppa while I check out other blogs.........
Happy Stitching
Hugz Maria 😘
You’re machine was smokin', girl! Evening well spent! I whipped up a couple of bowl cozies for gifts, too. Well, I finished three, two are still sitting on the craft counter, half made. But they’ll get finished...eventually! I finally made myself a tote bag, but I messed up on handle placement. But it’s for me, so it doesn’t matter a whole lot. Have a good weekend! XO
ReplyDeletesuch wonderful finishes!
ReplyDeleteSettling down to work on some projects for one night seems very productive! Cute bags.
ReplyDeleteHow do you use a microwave cloth bowl? I've never heard of that. The squares are gorgeous and the bag with the old school pattern pictures takes me back to when my Mother sewed all my cloths. Memories. You've been busy!!
ReplyDeleteYou got lots done Maria - well done!! I love how you did the second bag. I haven't made my blocks for Carole yet - thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great time you had in the "Cave". I have seen that "retro" dress pattern fabric and wondered what could be done with it...now I know. See you next week in cyber sewing space.
