FnwFs

Yesterday I  joined the lovely Cheryll and friends for FnwFs and I was pleased to have been organised to get a good start on quilting this huge quilt....


 I stippled all the coloured blocks and am doing straight lines ( well they are kinda straight ) in the grey....I am over halfway and it would be great to get the quilting done over the weekend.... 😃
There are lots of threads to sew away and then the binding to make and put on.
May join all the coloured fabrics from the blocks and do a scrappy binding ???? What do you think ??

    That's looking great Maria, and lots of work in the big quilt... you must be doing a bit of arm wrestling too? Scrappy binding sounds perfect...

    Your quilting looks great! I would never have attempted something that size on my DSM. I admire you!! And yes - definitely scrappy binding!!

    Well done on getting half way with the quilting, that is a big quilt! Scrappy binding would be fantastic! Hope you get the quilting done this weekend.
