Patterns... and FNSI

Look what I downloaded this morning......

Toni's  lastest Aussie design from  RedBootQuiltCompany .

Love all Toni's designs sew
I can't wait to start it...

and when I went to collect my mail this was also in the post.

It's Michelle and Fiona's  fault (  lol ) I ordered this book as I watched them both stitching these cute "Angels" sew just had to make them too......

Also this morning I attended our Monthly Meeting for " Days for Girls"  and I was given 100 shields to sew.... Lucky my friend Lois helps me get these made.

Thankfully Wendy  has orgainsed us for FNSI this week sew I can make a start on the shields and maybe decide on a new project  because I have nothing else to do...  Hahahahah!!!!

don't forget to pop over to Wendy's to sign up for a great night of sewing.

Happy Stitching,

Hugz  Maria XX

  10. Love all your wonderful quilts in the header! Both those new patterns will be so cute! Lots of sewing with all those 'shields'. I have a young friend that makes her living sewing and selling natural lady intimates. I never knew there was such a market! Local church missionary group also sews them. Wonderful way to help girls across the world.

  11. Oh yes--I too keep looking at that Angel book and keep talking myself out of it--as I really do have enough projects in the fire now--but it does have alot of embroidery and applique in it and that is right up my alley--esp these days with the added breathing problems and having to sit and be quiet ----
    enjoy, di

  15. That's the problem with crafting & sewing; we get inspired by what we see others making, & then choose to make it too! I'm sure you will do a lovely rendering on Angel's Story, Maria.
Toni's new pattern is a beauty, have fun making it.

  18. The Land Down Under looks awesome. You're going to have fun making that. Anxious to see your project. I'm still clueless wondering what shields are. Scrolled back to your previous post, hoping you had responded to my post.
