FNSI for May...

It was another lovely FNSI stitching along with Wendy and friends ...

I put together two pages of blocks from " My Small World"

The small blocks are 2 1/2" finished.

Then last night I joined my friends from the Northern hemisphere and pulled out "On Ringo Lake" .
Bonnie Hunter's  Mystery Quilt I started at the end of last year....

I can't believe that some ladies actually finished this quilt in 6 weeks...It's got lots and lots of small pieces !!!!

I'm slowly getting there and hope to finally put the first few blocks together soon.

Today I stitched some Poppy Blocks for  "Aussie Hero's "

Off to pop the kettle on , make a cuppa and go to see what others have done HERE.

Thanks Wendy for another great weekend of sewing....

Happy Stitching..

Hugz  Maria XX

  2. Wow that Ringo Lake quilt sure has a lot of work Maria... I wonder if the people who finished in that time, just focused on that & nothing else? Regardless, I'm sure you'll work on it when you feel like it, & get it done eventually.

  3. I'm also doing On Ringo Lake but mine will probably end up being more pond-sized. O many tiny pieces. Ugh! Love Your teeny, tiny "Small World" blocks too. Very pretty

  4. Your blocks for 'small world' quilt are coming along nicely--
and I do believe you will someday get on Ringo lake done--everyone works at their own pace and maybe yours will be better put together as you are taking your time and seeing that all the parts are done correctly!!!
    enjoy, di

  17. Such pretty bright and cheery patterns/colors you've chosen. Are you familiar with the program called Welcome Blanket? I came across it the other day. Since you quilt, thought you might be interested in it.
