Oh where have the days gone ?????? Can't believe it's been 12 days since my last post.........
It's been sew HOT the past few days and as most of you know I love going for my morning dip each day with my friends....
We walk down the boardwalk
over the sand dune and into the pristine water of Nunn's Pool for our dip.
(love seeing the tracks the wee crabs make running up and down the dunes....)
we all have a little bucket which we fill to wash our feet before getting in our cars.....
Last week it had rained a lot up North of us and even though it's dry here the water comes down river and sadly the River Mouth broke through to the sea and our beautiful swimming spot was all red and muddy........
Sew we've to go elsewhere for our dip but thankfully today Nunn's Pool has cleared and we can go back tomorrow.....
Will post want sewing Iv'e been doing in the next post.....
Happy Stitching.
Hugz Maria :)

I didn't realise than you had your dip in a pool, thought you braved the surf. Thanks for showing us some gorgeous scenery.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place and how nice to share it with friends x
ReplyDeleteNice to catch a glimpse of your day Maria. Hope it is starting to cool off a little now as autumn approaches.
ReplyDeleteSounds nice to have a dip..
ReplyDeleteA beautiful place to go to, and what a change in the water! Good to hear that it is clearing again. We have still proper winter weather with night frost down to -18C.
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely way to start the day. Watch out for rogue waves!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so beautiful where you are - and warm! I'm currently looking out at grey skies and melting snow x
ReplyDeleteOh how lovely that you can go for a morning dip like that! I love the ocean... and beach... not so much the hot weather though :) xx
ReplyDeleteMake the most of your swimming time, while the weather lasts. We had a cool 4 degrees here this morning - a sign of things to come.
ReplyDeleteYou have always enjoyed your swimming dips with your friends. It looks like a beautiful routine.
ReplyDeleteI must have missed this post while I was at retreat. I've just come in from shoveling about 10 inches of snow, only to read about your adventures at the beach. :-( Always an excuse for a Sew Day!!
