Avalon Retreat......Part One..

Arrived at Avalon Homestead Retreat on Friday at 2pm after a 4 hour drive ..

The huge "Gold Room" was completed since my last stay and what a fabulous room to spend time in with my DD2 and sewing friends..

We have the most gorgeous views as we stitch.

there are sew many talented ladies in our Patch Club.......

Val working on her big braid ...

Maree's FM Roses....

Heather working on a "Shaggy Dog" quilt..

Heather is over from the East visiting her sister Maree and isn't a quilter but Maree kindly had all the squares cut and put together ready for her sis to sew... Great job Heather !!!

Allison's "Bargello"  and Jan M working her bright "Crazy Patch"

We were all amazed as Loris sewed and created this beautiful "Butterfly"

Di's "Bunting Quilt " for her little grandie..

Some of Sandra's projects..

                                                                   Pinata blocks

and Sandra finished this flimsy...

at the end of each day we sit down to a delicious meal served in the lovely dining room....

Will post what I worked on in the next post...

Happy Stitching

Hugz Maria :)
