Fun Filled Weekend.

Some time ago our Patch Club decided to have a "Stay at Home Retreat" as not all our members can go to" Avalon" (a retreat some 5 hours away) . We had a lady do all the catering sew we could just sit and sew into the night, go home to bed and return after brekky to eat, chat and sew again..... to make it even nicer for me my DD2 drove up from Perth to sew along with us too...

We had the best time

enjoying a never ending supply of food

 and great company...

I am always amazed at how many different designs and fabrics we use....

Vicki made this gorgeous Dresden Quilt using her Dad's ties....

A beautiful memory quilt for her and the family....

Everyone had such a fabulous weekend we are going to do it again before our Triennial Hanging in October to work on our quilts.......

and yesterday I went into town and have a lovely morning visiting  my DD1, GS1, GD1, GGD2 and GGS1.. such a great way to top off a fabulous few days.....

Happy Stitching

Hugz Maria :)
