OPAM for February

This year is going along far too fast .. Tomorrow is March 1st already and the first day of Autumn, one of my favourite seasons, usually warm days and cool nights Down Under...

when I looked through my photos I was surprised to have five finishes for OPAM this month as it seams I have only sewed and sewed the Mystery Quilt for forever but ....


I enjoyed making these for my Bobbing Friend Helen's BD...

and also my friend Ellyn's BD gifts...

When we received  Part Three of the "Mystery Quilt" I was sew disappointed and didn't like it at all.

Sew I played with the blocks I had spent forever to cut, sew and trim and put this together.
Now I love it......

My EPP Progress

Last year I joined in for the EPP Sew-A-Long and many ladies have finished but I am slowly pladding along with mine..
I thought by linking up with Anthea for Piece Yourself Together it may spur me along...

This is the one I am working on now..

there are 26 parts sew still have 11 to go....

My Sunday..

After my early morning walk along the beach,

Coffee with the ladies at the Seaside Cafe

then a swim afterwards .


I went home and played with Block 7 of the Snapshot Sew-A-Long... Pleased to have



Block 6

and Block 7 done...

Only 5 more to go.....


Guess it's time now to get back to the Mystery Quilt....

FNSI.....

Last night I enjoyed sewing along with Wendy  and friends...

First was Block Two of the Splendid Sampler.....

I changed it a little and decided not to add antennas to make the butterflies...


Then I worked on the Patch Club's  Mystery Quilt Blocks...

after a while I got bored with these and found a UFO to play with.

Block Six of the Snapshot Quilt-A-Long...

Sorted the fabrics and cut out the pieces ready to sew. May join my friends in the Northern Hemisphere tonight.

First Sampler Block.

Today Pat Sloan posted the first block for the " Splendid Sampler " A Heart, just perfect for a Valentine Day release....

This and That...

When I was watering earlier this evening Lacy kept getting under the hose, then thought it was a good idea to roll in the black sand....

sew Lacy stayed outside in her kennel tonight..  will bath her in the morning..

Look what I have joined .....

After seeing the SAL on lots of different blogs I decided to also join in....lol... 

This week I have been busy working on the Mystery Quilt our Patch ladies are doing as a group SAL.. There is a lot of cutting and piecing.

After hours of sewing this afternoon and again tonight I realized the last block has been sewn on the wrong way... 

Guess it's time for bed....Nigh Nigh....

FnwFs, Scqilters GTG and A special friend

I am in the big smoke at my DD2s for a few days sew we spent  FnwFs in her craft room.. We did more chatting then sewing but I did manage to get a little more work done on my EPP project.

                                                            

On Saturday morning we drove to Pinjarra to have a lovely visit with my DD1 and then on to the WA Scqilters GTG at The Pinjarra Patch club rooms ... Had a wonderful day with all the Scqilter ladies and as a bonus our blogging friend Anthea come along and spent time with us.... I did some more on my EPP but too busy chatting to take photos ..LOL
