Catching Up 2 ( a day late )

After leaving Bathurst we made our way to Canberra ACT.. Boy is it cold there… 0 deg at night sew the heater was on full….
We spent the day visiting the War Museum

it was a long and tiring day viewing all the detailed displays…

we moved on again yesterday, stopped in Yass for morning coffee and hubby noticed there was a fabric store having a 30% off sale..

look at the nice panels and spotty fabric that left with me and are now tucked away in the van….

as hubby likes to go the back roads and avoid lots of traffic we do find some treasures……

of course we stopped and had to check out this fabulous place…

the smell as you walked into the door was delicious….

how would you like this for your very own birthday cake?

after an overnight stop it’s on the road again and there is always a necessary stops..

and in Renmark….

Stayed in Clare SA two night sew hubby could watch The Eagles play and to catch up with the dreaded washing …..

Off in the morning, heading West only 2800 kms to home….

Happy Stitching

  9. I'll bet you will be glad to get home, but I am sure it has been an amazing trip. It sounds like your husband is an enabler if he is mentioning a fabric shop! Mine would probably run in the other direction. ;-)

  10. hubby is very well trained! Fabric! Licorice! Bakery! That should help compensate for doing laundry. :-)
