FnwFs

The past week has been crazy for me sew it was nice to sign up with Cheryll for FnwFs and spend time with my DD in her craft room.
But it seems my head wasn’t in the right space. I  just wanted to made a B/W 12” block for my swap partner.
The first pattern was completely wrong. None of the measurements were right sew in the bin it went…

Block Two was far too small….

but thankfully No 3 is perfect…….

Then I helped DD by cutting out fabric for a quilt she is making for her friend's BD..

was also able to organize and cut the next Owl BOM…

thanks Cheryll for organizing us again this month. Will enjoy visiting others over the next few days..

  4. Such 'stick-to-it-iveness'. I don't know if I could have hung in there for 3 tries!! I know your first two attempts won't go to waste. Good job! I love the 3rd block best!

  14. Hugs Maria. You made some progress in the end but oh so frustrating when things don't go right. I've been making some of those churndashes lately - very cute.

  23. Your final block is so pretty...I hate when blocks do not turn out the right way...maybe you can use the other blocks in a scrappy quilt of some kind or make small cushions with them.
