Another finish

For the past few hours I have been busy cutting and sewing. I have wanted some new placemats for ages so decided that was what I was going to DO. Yeh!  Here are the four I have completed. In time to be added to this months OPAM by half an hour.

Oh, they can also go into my stringy challenge.

As I have given this stitchery to my first PIF I can now post it for another finish for my OPAM.

Retreat by the Sea

Last Friday Sue Mary and I went

to the city for a retreat by the sea.

These are the projects I worked

on for "Friday Night Sew In"

As I did not have computer

access was unable to post them

on time.

It was just wonderful. We were

able to just sit and sew or chat 

with friends while the ladies

 in the kitchen cooked ALL

our delicious meals AND did

the dishes TOO.

"Winter Mini Swap". It was fun to

make. Hope my swap partener likes

it.

Monday Sewing Day

Today is sewing day at the The Patch and with the help of my friend Linda got my flip flop/thong quilt pinned.Then I settled down to do some quilting before my exercise class. On my return it was time for lunch and then more sewing.

When pulling the thread to the back of the machine silly me put my foot on the pedal and sewed my finger!!

                                                  

OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beatrice came to my aid with a tissue and bandaide. Then back to some sewing.

After tea I went into the sewing room and finished quilting and binding the quilt.Another UFO finished.

I'm back.

Had to take my computer in to the doctors and boy did I miss reading all your blogs. I am pleased to be back.

Over the past few days I have received more siggy's. It is fun collecting and sending them all over the world.
