And today I decided to start another of  Red Boot Company’s “The Land Down Under “ kids quilt.

Catch up post.

I haven’t had the head space to sit and do much lately but thought it was time to do a post . I have mainly been doing some hand sewing in the evenings and put together my hexie pouch.

After. Not sure I like it stitched on ?? 

Also started to sew some of the La Passacaglia blocks together. Still have many more to make.

And been putting my Chookshed Challenge blocks together . But need some more spotty fabric so have to wait till it’s sent to me from Perth.

Must close now as it’s nearly time for Tipping Point….

FnwFs for May.

I’m so pleased to have Cheryll organise this month’s  FnwFs …. Going into the Cave to cut up some FQs into 2 1/2 “ strips for our patch group’s  “Jelly Roll “ workshop the next day was so good for me….

 

It kept me busy most of the evening and later I did some more leaves 🍂 on my temperature tree and started sewing the hexies together for the pouch.

 

Must away as it’s time to get some shut eye.

Chookshed Challenge

For Chookshed Challenge this month Deana has drawn the # 8 and for me that is to make a quilt from the Dragons I made for the RSC last year…. There only 8 blocks so I’ll need to see how to make them into a small quilt.

Must away and have some Brekky.

This and that !

When going through my stash cupboard I found some FQs so decided to make a baby quilt out of them.

The colour hasn’t shown up well at all on the photo I took outside so will add the one I took while quilting  to show the true colours 

I’ve also made all the hexies for the pouch and pinned them ready to sew.

And completed the leaves for April on my Temperature Tree.

Angela has chosen  GREEN for the RSC this  month so I found some to use.

I traced and appliquéd both fish ,then started to buttonhole stitch only to find I’d picked up both and was sewing them together.. Grrrrr! So had some unpicking to do…..

Done ✔️ 

And the HST blocks also done….

Now I’m waiting to see what No Deana picks for May’s Chookshed Challenge .

Catching up and FNSI.

Time to catch up and do a post for FNSI with Wendy… we had visitors stay over night on there way up North so only got some hand sewing done on the hexies for my pouch.

Over the Easter weekend I worked on my Temperture Tree

My tree is looking very boring as we’re still having temps in the high 20s to mid 30s Celsius. I’m looking forward to cooler weather and a colour change….

I also went through my stash to find fabrics for the next La Passacaglia block as I haven’t done anything on it for awhile.

Must away now as blogger hasn’t been co-operating and I need a cuppa.
