No 7 Challenge

As the month is nearing an end it’s time to post my #7 challenge. It’s a huge thanks to Deana that this project come out of the cupboard after 6 years and is actually put together , sandwiched and pinned and put into the quilting pile.

Of course we know what our next challenge No will be as it’s the last one. Mine is a Christmas Stitchery

that needs finishing so I’ll swap my LaLa project to stitch it in the evenings.

And I’m also starting a baby quilt for a friend.

FNSI for Sept.

The weeks are flying by and before we know it’s the third week of September and time to join Wendy for FNSI. It’s so good to join in and work on my projects. 

Last night I caught up with my Laundry Baskets Birthday blocks, 

No 37 and 38. The bottom one still needs a press so it doesn’t look so wonky.

Must away now and see what others worked on for FNSI

FnwFs for Sept.

Last Friday I joined Cheryll for FnwFs and managed to make the Laundry Basket birthday blocks Nos 35 and 36….

When taking the photo I realised I hadn’t posted blocks 33 and 34. 

I’m all caught up now till Tuesday.

I also did some work on my #7 Chookshed Challenge.

Must away and get ready to watch The Block….

#7 Chookshed Challenge and FnwFs

This month it’s #7 which for me is a gift I received for my 70th birthday… I had made a start and then it was put away and hadn’t been touched again.

 

This is where I got up to so I’ll be happy to make some progress on this long awaited UFO. 

As it’s the first Friday of the month this week I’ll be signing up with Cheryll for FnwFs and hope to get more of #7 done.

Must away and pop on the kettle now.
