Finishes for December 2022.
As the end of not only the month but also the year draws closer I'd like to post my OPAM finishes and give a HUGE thank you to KRIS for organising us over the years. It's been fun joining in and will miss the gentle shove to get at least one finish each month.
I've really enjoyed making this quilt for my Great Granddaughter who is off to boarding school next year.
It's called "All Stacked Up". A free Kaffe Fasset pattern.
The paint chip challenge quilt.
and of course the "21 Gingerbread Persons "
I really should be sorting out my Cave but instead I've started a new project BUT I'm also working on a WIP ...
Maybe I should stick to one project at a time...
Must away now and find the unpicker...
Happy stitching.

I'm late for FNSI post!
Since completeing the Paint Chip challege quilt and my GGDs I seem to have lost my mojo so thought by signing up with Wendy and friends for are last FNSI for 2022 I may get back into some sewing.
Thank you, Wendy for organising us again this year for our Friday Nights Sew In and I look forward to joining in again next year....
Sadly, on Friday night I started sorting out my Christmas decorations so no sewing BUT I decided I'd join the ladies in the Northern Hemisphere on Saturday and managed to make some Aussie Hero Blocks....
Blocks for Dec/Jan are
" Uneven Log Cabin "
Must away and post before we have another power outage. Had one the last two nights......
Happy Stitching

Paint Chip Challenge Reveal.
Finally at our Christmas Dinner for Patch last Thursday, it was time to reveal what the ladies who had participated in the challenge had made.
I'm surprised I finished mine as I did so much unpicking and keep repeating the same mistake, but I did and I'm happy with it.
There were so many great projects from bowl cosies, candle mats, table runners, bags and quilts. There was even a block painted on a board that can be hung...Here are a few.
Must away and bring in the washing.
Happy Stitching,
Hugs Maria ❤

FnwFs and a Surprise.
Tonight for FnwFs I worked on my slow EPP project "La Passacaglia"
First I had to do some prep work before stitching the stars together and onto the block.
Stitching the stars on takes some time as the block is getting big to handle. Only 6 more stars after these to do and then the block will be done.
When I come home today this was sitting on Lacy's kennel ..
A REAL Christmas Tree ..
Hubby knew I wanted one, so it was a lovely surprise that he'd bought the tree for me...
Must away and go to bed ..
Happy stitching
Hugs Maria ❤
