Loot !!!!!

I was very pleased with myself and managed to only buy a few things.

Some nice FQ's

Lovely stitcheries with the cutest clay buttons
And was thrilled with my ric rac and ribbon.
Could have bought the whole store.

After putting all the things back in my bag I realised my little purse with my stash money was missing. We looked everywhere and turned everything inside out but NO the purse and the $100 was GONE!!

So we decided  that we would go back to the craft show again in the morning and ask if anyone had handed in my little purse. With no name on it just my $100 inside!!!!

With the bill paid and the car packed we drove down to the Convention Centre. Found a park  and went  inside to the counter marked " Enquires"
I explained to the young lady about me loosing my little purse. "And what colour was it " she said etc.

I am sure you could have knocked me over with a feather when she handed me my  LITTLE PURSE  and with my $100 inside. I was sad when she told me the kind person who had handed it in did not leave their name. I would have loved to have thanked them personally.

There are still lots of nice folk!!!

Craft Show, Part 2

After a good nights rest and some brekky it was off to the show. Even though it was threating rain we were lucky to walk to the show without getting wet.

I love this time of year when all the golden/brown leaves are falling from the trees.

We decided to view the Quilt Hanging first.

there are so many amazing quilts      and such talented folk. I am in awe of their skill.

Like good crafting ladies it was now time to have morning tea and catch up with a few other ladies and chat. Time to check out the stalls.

There is just so much to see that passes quickly.  Now it is time for lunch and then more browsing.

It was nice to get back to our room and relax.

Friday Night Sew In and Craft Show. Part 1

I have just returned from Perth. Some 400kms away. My friend Linda and I spent the weekend there to visit the Craft Show. So as I was not at home for Friday Night Sew In I sat in our room and hand stitched.

The pattern for this cushion cover is on  Dawn's  blog with a short story of Jessica Watson. Our brave Aussie young lady.

Will post again tomorrow about our day at the craft show.
