Lovely Longggggg FNSI

I had a lovely Easter weekend joining Wendy and the other ladies for a longggg FNSI over the weekend...
Wendy also designed a sweet Easter stitchery for those who joined in..

On Friday I first set up the machine to do some quilting on my A4A

then sorted through my stash and made 4 of the Splendid Sampler blocks on my little machine,

just need to do the embroidery on two blocks...

Saturday morning I was busy at the Markets selling raffle tickets for the Patch club and in the afternoon went out for a bit of block work.

This little guy was sitting on a branch till Lacy spotted him ( can you see him? ) then he ran off

and he must have hidden under here.... see Lacy's tail..

after dinner I put this Christmas Wall Hanging together

finished another Block for my EPP project, just needs to be stitched onto the background.

and did some stitching on this....

thank you Wendy for fun filled weekend of sewing and the cute Easter Stitchery... Will pop over to see what others have been doing over the next few days...

Fun Filled Weekend.

Some time ago our Patch Club decided to have a "Stay at Home Retreat" as not all our members can go to" Avalon" (a retreat some 5 hours away) . We had a lady do all the catering sew we could just sit and sew into the night, go home to bed and return after brekky to eat, chat and sew again..... to make it even nicer for me my DD2 drove up from Perth to sew along with us too...

We had the best time

enjoying a never ending supply of food

 and great company...

I am always amazed at how many different designs and fabrics we use....

Vicki made this gorgeous Dresden Quilt using her Dad's ties....

A beautiful memory quilt for her and the family....

Everyone had such a fabulous weekend we are going to do it again before our Triennial Hanging in October to work on our quilts.......

and yesterday I went into town and have a lovely morning visiting  my DD1, GS1, GD1, GGD2 and GGS1.. such a great way to top off a fabulous few days.....
