Mystery Workshop

As I mentioned in the previous post our Patchwork Group was having a "Mystery Workshop" yesterday.. I had helped our workshop co ordinater Allison to organise it. For weeks we had members quizzing us as to what we were doing , it was fun keeping it a secret...

25 ladies had signed up to join us for the day...After all had a arrived they received their Mystery Bag....

it contained , A Layered Cake, 4 patterns, a Patch magazine ,sweets ,a bottle of water and the lucky No for prizes through the day.... Oh should have taken a photo of all the bags lined up and the contents........

Allison had a chat and we showed then some of the samples we had sewn...

(again I forgot to take photos,....)

the ladies watched a tutorial and then off to cut and sew......

How did we manage before I Pads !!!!   Then off to cut

Lots of sewing

I loved Ros's Layered Cake in Blues and Creams.....

Of course we had plenty of food catered by the lovely Sue who just comes into the Hall drops it off and disappears again.......

Morning Tea..

                                                                and lunch.

Lots ironing

and more sewing and then it was time to lay out their blocks......... some ladies had to put them on the floor

sew did Donna, who is hiding behind her flimsy..Everyone had a fabulous day and it was sew nice to see all there flimsy's come together and all the different Layered Cakes.....                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Okay I will close now as Blogger doesn't want to play and I can't space or place photos where I would like...  Hugz  Maria :(
