Sewing along for FNSI….

I made an early start for FNSI as I had five projects that I have been working on and wanted some finishes..

While visiting my DD somehow some of her UFOs jumped in my bag…

Nice strips of pretty fabrics left from her baby quilt.

They made a lovely  “Quilt of Love”

also a sweet embroidery she had stitched.

I made into a pretty new 12” Mini for my Frame.

There are others but will work on them later..

 

Next I sewed 6 rows of my "Snowballs and 9 Patches" together..

Slowly growing..

 

Then blanket stitched around the last March Block for Natures Journey"  SAL

Pleased they are done…..

 

and Taaaa Dahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

The 1st of 39 blocks for my “Pinata” quilt and I LOVE it…..

I will be visiting the other 50 Ladies over the weekend to see what they have worked on…

  11. I LOVE that pinata block! That is going to be stunning as a whole quilt. You got so much done for FNSI. The snowballs and 9 patch rows look great as do the nature blocks. Your daughter's stitchery piece looks so sweet finished like that. It was a great night for you.

  12. Such a pretty striped baby quilt. I am in love with the embroidered piece from your daughter and the way you have it displayed. Your snowball quilt is coming along great. Nature's Journey is very nice too. The Pinata block is so bright and vibrant with color.

  15. oh my gosh you must have been up all night.... what a cute baby blanket and mini quilt ... fun when you and DD do things 'together' ... and your scrappy blocks are taking shape wonderfully.... well done with finishing all of the SAL blocks.. I have to work hard on them this week! Pinata looks fantastic.... I must take note of it...

  19. Love how your Snowball quilt is progressing Maria and your NJ blocks are gorgeous too. Hummm... when your daughter sees just how lovely her stitchery looks on your stand she might just want it back...lol.
