Busy Few Days

Driving home after a busy few days in the city for hubby’s appointments it was thundering and lighting with lots of strong winds most of the way. Then, not too far from home, we noticed fires in the distance. It is always scary in the hot dry weather. We were lucky to get through on the Hway as it was closed soon after. Thankfully those fires have now been contained. Those volunteers are great people.

On our arrival home at 6.30pm we had NO power. That means NO water as we supply our own with pumps from our tanks. We do have a generator to keep the fridge going, some light and a tele. It didn’t go back on till 12.30pm yesterday . After a lovely long shower I went into town did some shopping and picked up a parcel and look what was inside…….

  13. We are the same here, when the power is out... no showers, can't flush the loo, not even a cuppa if there is no water in the jug on the sink to boil on the stove..... hope Hubby's test went well xxx
